Frequently asked questions

How much does Ojito cost?

$39 once. It includes 12 months of updates and keeps working after that. If you want another year of new versions, a renewal is $19. Beta users pay half, for life: $19.50 and $9.50.

What happens after the 12 months?

Nothing breaks. You keep the last version released inside your year, forever. Ojito tells you when a newer version needs a renewal, and you decide.

How does the beta work?

Join the list on the homepage. We open in waves and email an invite code. With it you get a free 60-day license by email. When it ends, capturing pauses until you buy; search and every capture you made stay on your Mac.

Is there a subscription?

No. One payment, a license that never expires, and optional renewals for updates.

How many Macs can I use?

Every Mac you personally use. Licenses are personal; please don't share them.

Where do my captures go?

Nowhere. Screenshots, text and search stay in ~/Library/Application Support/Ojito on your Mac. The optional Organize feature is off by default and sends a redacted image only when you turn it on.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. Paddle, our Merchant of Record, processes it, or write to railly@crafterstation.com.

Which Macs are supported?

macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple silicon.

Who handles payment?

Paddle. They take cards, Apple Pay and PayPal, handle sales tax and VAT, and send your receipt. Your license arrives by email from Ojito.
